I don’t like coffee or tea, so to get my caffeine fix, I drink Pepsi Next (in cans) and they have 60 calories per can. I don’t usually drink the entire can because I don’t like them once they start to get warm and/or start to lose the fizz. I drink rather slow, so one might last me for hours. A frozen coozie keeps the drink cold for a good while.
There are so many yummy veggies and fruits that are filling and super low in calories – carrots, spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, strawberries, bananas, lettuce, cabbage, regular squash, spaghetti squash, zucchini, peas and beans, asparagus, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, water chestnut, and more.
Lean meats, poultry, and fish that are not dosed with loads of sauces and creams are also fairly low in calories.
Cutting out the junk food and the foods loaded with calories is the best way to lose weight fast. This is the best weight loss motivation I can give you – if I can lose weight fast like this by eating less calories, you can too. I started the night of June 13 and I have 18 pounds gone so far. I am sure that when I weigh in the morning, it will be even more.
Obviously if you exercise along with a change in diet, you will lose weight faster than just by changing your diet. I haven’t exercised to lose this weight. But I do have a treadmill, an exercise bike, and an elliptical machine. I even have a room set up now with them in it now (instead of the living room). My goal is to use them all at least once a day. Starting out will be slow after such a while of not using them (probably a year or more), along with continuing to eat healthier foods.
I don’t recommend for anyone to just stop eating. That’s not healthy at all. If you don’t have anything healthy to eat and your don’t have money at the moment to buy healthy food, I would suggest just eating less of what you do have, leaving out any sauces or gravies, and anything that you can that’s not natural as in grown or raised. And if nothing else, you can start when you do get paid so that you can buy healthier foods.
